This is a map I made for schoolchildren to give them an idea of the location of the missions of The Georgia Martyrs.   Only the site of Mission Santa Catalina de Guale on St. Catherine's Island is known.  The location of the other missions is speculative, and scholarship changes as to the location of the missions.  The area shown is southeast Georgia, 30 to 50 miles north of the Florida border.

Addendum: In the years since I published this web site, some historians have proposed different locations for the missions.  I have chosen not to include the divergent opinions since the research is not conclusive nor does it change the faith impact of the story.  Readers wishing to know alternate theories may     contact me.
